T.N. CM Stalin accuses Centre of using delimitation to divert attention from cooking gas shortage

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday (March 25, 2026) said instead of taking measures to resolve the shortage in supply of cooking gas cylinders due to ongoing conflict in West Asia, the BJP government at the Centre has now taken up the delimitation “script” only to divert the attention of people. In a statement, Mr. Stalin said by equating the shortage in supply of cooking gas cylinders to the period of COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has further heightened fear among people who are already suffering. Many restaurants have been shut, leading to workers facing job losses.v
