He claimed that farmers, youth, women, laborers, and small businesses are struggling with rising prices, unemployment, and financial pressure, yet the BJP leadership is celebrating such moments instead of focusing on governance. The Congress leader further alleged that PM Modi has failed to take necessary steps to strengthen India’s economy and security over the past few months. According to Gandhi, ordinary citizens will suffer the most if economic conditions worsen, with possible increases in inflation, fuel prices, and agricultural costs. He argued that symbolic gestures and viral moments cannot replace serious leadership during difficult economic times. Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Italy was part of the final phase of his five-nation diplomatic tour, which also included the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway.
